Jobs

A job is a group of tasks performed by an employee in exchange for being paid. A job consists in responsibilities and duties. People are evaluated for what they do.

Some jobs need physical skills, some jobs need social skills and some need mental skills.
For example:
A builder needs physical skills in order to perform his job.

A receptionist needs social skills to communicate with people that come into the reception.

A doctor needs mental skills in order to diagnose his  patients’ symptoms.

A person should choose a job according to what he/she likes, wants to do and his/her aptitudes.
The choice shouldn’t be done just because it is an easy job.

Now we are going to talk about a mechanics’ job:
A mechanic is a person who builds and repairs machinery, they mostly work with cars and motorcycles.
To be a mechanic you need a high school education or general education development, you need to enroll in a vocational education program, a certificate, you need to receive employer training and then you can be a mechanic.
Although it is a though route to take it will be worth it if you like your job and enjoy doing it.

Sorry for posting this late but it didn't actually get posted yesterday and i didn't notice until now.

Women and their Looks

We should always care about our appearance so we can feel good with ourselves. Everybody has his/her personality and appearance. We should try to change the things we don’t like so we can feel good because everybody is different.

To improve our physical appearance we should have some daily cares, like our hygiene , take daily showers, wash your clothes, use moisturizer, brush your teeth several times a day, work out, eat healthy food… This way we’ll like our physical appearance.

Mary Kay
She is a business woman. She created a foundation called Mary Kay foundation, thinking of every woman who has cancer and suffers from domestic violence. she wants to end  violence.
During her life she helped a lot of women that didn't have self-esteem and financial support. She was a kind person.
Mary Kay is a beautiful and elegant woman, always with a great physical appearance.

Feel good is to be happy!

Being Active

Being Active

Teenagers do a lot of things in their free time for example: hanging out with friends, listening to music, going shopping, going to the cinema, surfing on the net, watching TV... But not all teens do that and then some of them become a "couch potato".

"Couch potato" is that person who sits in the sofa all day long and watches TV. He/she just does that during many hours. Besides, they eat a lot of fast food which is unhealthy.
People should exercise to have a good health, to be in good shape and don't get fat.
We can do a lot of different things to keep fit, such as: running, riding a bike, playing football, going to the gym, swimming, dancing, playing tennis... People can also buy weights or mini steps, and practise at home.

It is important to make  some form of exercise to keep fit and to be healthy.

In the food pyramid, what you should eat most is in the base(the widest part) and what you should eat least is at the top(the narrowest part).

Slow Food project

The slow food project is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic organization. It was founded in 1989. It defends healthy eating and local food traditions and food biodiversity. It counteracts fast food. It also promotes "food at risk"- traditional dishes that used to be often made in the past and now they are barely made. In a nutshell, it is a project to bring back the good old traditions and make people realize that slowly made food is better than fast food.

Fast Food

Fast food is food that is made in less than 5 minutes and it is usually fried and poorly made. It isn't good for your health. It makes you get fat and lose your energy if you eat too much of it. Hamburguers, pizzas, french fries, fried chicken wings are some of the many fast foods.
